A subwoofer can be used to extend the low-frequency response of the audio system and increase the power output and overall sound pressure level. They are particularly useful for larger venues or outdoor events (in dry conditions!) where bass frequencies often dissipate more quickly. They also take the strain away from the main speakers, allowing the system to play cleaner and louder with minimal distortion.
Any bass-heavy sub-driven music will be greatly enhanced, especially when played at higher levels. And a sub is pretty much essential if you have a live band and wish to put the kickdrum and bass guitar through the PA system.
Please note that these weigh approximately 43kg each and measure approximately 660x735x785mm and this should be taken into consideration. However we can supply them with handy wheel-boards if needed.
