Eminence Crossover Fuse Bulb
Replacement fuse to fit the Eminence PX and PXB range of crossovers. The fuse is formed from two Aircraft indicator lamps soldered together in parallel.
The lamps will normally flash with use, and will flash brightly at high power. The lamps have a positive temperature coefficient, so as the lamps light up, the resistance of the lamp filament increases, reducing the power delivered to the HF part of the circuit, thereby offering a level of HF protection.
Excessive power will cause the lamps to blow, generally preventing damage to the HF driver, though it is impossible to guarantee this.
