Buying From Outside the UK

If you are located outside the UK, you can create an account on our website to obtain an accurate shipping quote. Delivery charges, delivery times, and available couriers will vary depending on your location.

Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs charges set by your country. These charges are not included in our prices and are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking with your local customs office for guidance before ordering.

For larger or bulky items, we can ship by pallet. Please contact our sales office if you require assistance or a quote.

Brexit and EU Orders

The UK is no longer part of the EU Customs Union or VAT system. This means that the way VAT and import charges are handled for EU customers has changed.

For EU consumer orders (B2C personal purchases) we now use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) wherever possible. This means we pay the import VAT and any duties to the courier, and you will see a full all-inclusive price at checkout. There is normally nothing extra to pay when the goods are delivered.

Some low value consumer orders cannot be sent using DDP due to IOSS restrictions. In these cases, your local customs authority or courier may collect import VAT or other charges before delivery.

For EU business customers (B2B), DDP is not used. Business orders are supplied as zero rated exports from the UK. Import VAT, duties, or any clearance fees are handled by the recipient when the goods enter the destination country. This allows you to receive an import VAT document which you can use to reclaim any VAT paid.

Import rules vary between EU member states, and some couriers may add handling or administration fees. These local charges are outside our control.

VAT on EU B2B Sales

For EU business customers, VAT is not charged at the point of sale if a valid VAT number is supplied. You may be required to provide additional verification to confirm your VAT status before dispatch.

The sale will then be treated as a zero rated export. Your local tax authority may apply reverse charge VAT when the goods arrive in your country.

If a valid VAT number is not provided, we may need to treat the order as a consumer sale and VAT or import VAT rules for consumers may apply.

VAT on EU B2C Sales

For most EU consumer orders we use DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). This means we pay the import VAT and any applicable duties to the courier on your behalf, and you will see a full all-inclusive price at checkout with nothing extra to pay on delivery.

Some low value orders cannot be sent DDP due to IOSS restrictions. In these cases the courier or local customs authority may collect import VAT and charges before delivery. This only applies to certain small orders where DDP is not available.

Where DDP is used, the final price shown in your basket includes all taxes, duties and clearance fees.
