Designed for a three way speaker cabinet with overall power handling of approximately 400W. The Crossover has one input and three outputs, one for bass, one for mid-range and one for treble.
The Bass output would typically go to a woofer, such as a 15" or 12" loudspeaker, and handle all the bass frequencies up to 500HZ.
The Mid range operates between 500Hz and the second crossover frequency. Usually a 10" or 8" driver would be used for this application, the Alpha 8MR is particularly good for this application as it has a sealed back making cabinet design simpler.
A suitable tweeter would be the APT80 or APT150, or the APT50 mounted on a suitable horn flare.
