Tuff Cab Black Speaker Grille Foam (5mm) Coarse

Speaker front foam, charcoal black.
Permits free passage of air, has virtually no effect on the passage of sound, whilst offering a degree of protection by minimising the passage of dirt and dust towards the speakers, also offers some defence against liquid spillage when in vertical position, as the majority of the liquid is directed down the foam.

Foam covering designed to provide a nice finish for a speaker front. Works best when supported by a metal grill to give a tidy, flat, finish.

Hints & Tips:
Cut the foam a fraction smaller than the area you want to cover. Apply velcro (hooks) along the edges of the area to cover. Starting from one corner, gently stretch the foam to cover the whole area, and press down above the velcro hooks. We use 1 inch velcro, but find 3/4 inch usually works just as well. By stretching the foam across the surface, a nice even flat finish is obtained. If you cut oversize, the foam will tend to bulge out and not sit flat. Getting the right size cut is critical in getting a perfect finish, and may take a little practise.
